Meet Chloe Comer

Technical Sales, South Waikato and Taranaki

Ask Chloe what a typical week looks like and she laughs: "Every day is completely different." As Tnue's sales executive for King Country, South Waikato and Taranaki, she spends most of her time on the road - visiting farmers and working alongside the wider rep team to help growers get the most out of their fertiliser programme.

She's been with Tnue since February, but agriculture is nothing new to her. Chloe started relief milking on local dairy farms as soon as she could drive, which turned into a full-time role on a farm in Tokoroa. Add a science degree in ecology and conservation, and you've got someone who understands both sides of the equation - the realities of running a farm, and the science behind why controlled-release fertiliser works.

For Chloe, the job comes down to the small wins. "Being a small part of farmers growing plenty of good quality feed is really rewarding," she says. It's happy customers, more than anything, that remind her why the work matters.

"Agriculture is all I know when it comes to my working life. I wanted a career where I could support farmers," Chloe says. "I also have a science degree in ecology and conservation, so it made sense to do something that helped farmers and the environment work together."
